🚗🔋 Important Update for Vehicle Battery Manufacturers! 🔋🚗China’s Certification Centre for Automobile Product Co., Ltd (CCAP) updated the certification rules for vehicle batteries, effective May 1, 2024. Major revisions include:1. Expanded Scope: Battery Management Systems (BMS) are now included in the voluntary CCAP certification.2. New Standards: 5 new standards have been introduced, while 2 outdated ones have been removed, including updates to technical conditions and safety requirements.3. Modified Type Testing Requirements: Enhanced type test items, including new durability tests and streamlined re-testing protocols.Stay compliant and competitive by adapting to these new requirements. IS CDK BACK UP AND RUNNING? I'M HEARING FROM SOME DEALERS THAT IT'S SLOWER AND ALL OF THE FUNCTIONS ARE NOT FULLY RETORED. This seems to be on a dealer to dealer basis, not the same on everyone. Some dealers have said things like ... "We don't have eLead back up yet. Some CDK options aren't working on mine such as credit inquiry ,OFAC, Red Flag... but we can build deals and print docs now in the F&I screen."What is your experience? Do You Trust CDK now? 🚗 If you currently cooperate with Stellantis xFCA, it's worth remembering about the changes that are currently occurring in cooperation with this client:1. FGP.42 referenced in the CSRs has been canceled and replaced by PRO-00109 – Quality Requirements for Suppliers (common for xPSA and xFCA)2. 07179 Plant Evaluation – Benestare has been suspended for download so we can expect a transition to a new approach3. In the beStandard portal you can now download the document PRO.00106 "PPAP Approval - Stellantis harmonized" which will be applicalbe for new projects4. In addition to document 9.01102/10 "Classification criteria for product and their characteristics", it is also worth familiarizing yourself with CS.00071 "Classification of characteristics" created by the Stellantis group, which is not yet included in CSRs5. Additional Quality Requirements will continue to apply in cooperation with this client. Questions about this document appear 4 times in Mass Production Audit. For example, the pressing process procedure number is AQR.00011 (for xFCA) and number 01598_23_01136 (used in cooperation with for xPSA)6. PDR according to SQ.00008 is ultimately replaced by Capacity Assessment Procedure GSQN.007 - now available on the beStandard portal7. Why is it worth reading? There is a well-presented project schedule 📊 showing milestones according to the old and new approaches - "Capacity Estimation" tab8. The "Forever Requirement Violation" indicator with claim number 20.1 has been changed to "Mass Production Unauthorized Change" - indicator nr 32.This information is not included in procedure 08018, which is waiting for its update, but you will find it on the SQP system login page.9. GSQN.0004 –Proactive Containment Procedure has replaced SQ.00009 – Safe Launch Plan – SLP.
